Coincidentally, the only version I’ve been able to find when I search online for possible solutions is the one I already have. While I was able to install The Age of Kings, I cannot get it to run. I have a 2-disc CD-ROM version of Microsoft Age of Empires II: Gold Edition (which includes the 2.0a-patched version of The Age of Kings, as well as The Conquerors Expansion each game is on its own CD-ROM). Settings ("Run this program in compatibility mode for., "Reduced color mode," and so on). Also, I've tried adjusting various "compatibility" Before I get too far, I want to say that what I'm asking is probably a bit of a stretch, so I would not be surprised if people said "no."
